VFTD is looking for nominees for the upcoming Best (Paintball) Player Ever poll which will post early next week sometime. Include as many or as few as you like. VFTD will take the top 15 or so (as determined by number of nominations submitted) to narrow the list for the final poll that will determine who y'all think is the greatest player ever. (After the poll I'll let you know if you got it right or not.) So what are you waiting for? Get cracking. And, you know, post up your nominations in the comments.
It should also be interesting to see what the demographic of the participating readership is by the players nominated too. Sic transit gloria mundi.

I nominate these three for the next poll on best players to weasel their way onto a pro team so they can call themselves pro.
Also thumbs up for Angel - I also miss watching him play. Probably the most fun during the Traumahead days as his jedi sense in the snake was just a joy to watch.

The funny thing about Angel. He told me once that he "hated playing snake". I looked at him incredulously and said that he was the best snake player in the world, how could he hate it? His response was "They tell me to play there". A true team player!

Oh, BJ, forgot about him.... I second that one!
ReplyDeleteBJ was the brains and Jimmy was the heart. To this day the influence of Jimmy is alive and well in the greats that FL has produced....all of them
ReplyDeletechad george over Bryan Smith? The only snake player in the last 10 years that can hold Bryan's jock is Angel...and Angel had a better support system (overall team) around him the entire time.
ReplyDeleteBerdnikov, Lang and Greenspan.
