The race is on! Bart busts out the checkbook once again and sends the Loonies flying--or does he? (Siewers to Impact.) With lots of high profile Pros playing musical chairs this silly season which teams have the deepest pockets and the highest payrolls? And will it payoff in the end with victories in 2013? From the list of pro teams given it's your chance to pick the Yankees of paintball. Choose your top five payrolls and see how it squares with everyone else's choices. Don't be left out. Your guess is as good as the next guys.
I voted for Arsenal but it didn't register my vote :(
ReplyDeleteWait yes it did. Sorry! But really it was a toss up for the fifth place team. Arsenal, Damage, and Xfactor as far as players payroll but Vicious probably has everyone beat as far as profit from team merchandise
ReplyDeleteEveryone voting for Russian Legion... remember that the average salary in Moscow is $1000 USD/month.
ReplyDeleteWhy do some times have more money than others? Does it just come from better sponsorship, or an owner willing to spend there personal cash?
ReplyDeleteI think Red Legion gets votes because voters confusing/lumping team coffers with player paycheck. Red Legion cold not play in the states without lots of money to spend on tickets and accomodations. But the players themselves may make very little.
ReplyDeleteHey, why aren't any Brit teams on the list? You trying to say us Brits ain't got no cash? Actually, you're probably right.
ReplyDeleteAny comments on Dave Bains heading to Impact?

ReplyDeleteIt was not unexpected. Dave's played for Impact before and it will keep him on the west coast where it will certainly be easier to maintain an active tournament schedule. It will be interesting to see how it all works out--best of luck to him.
