Euroland Seminar Concept

Aight, this one's mostly for the Eurokids and I could use your help. No, you don't have to do anything--much. What I'm looking for is feedback, info and opinions.
I'm looking into the possibility of organizing a seminar (or two) for experienced teams and players designed around teaching the European player secrets of the aggressive American style of play. Most clinics focus on making the individual a better player. (Which is a good and necessary thing.) The purpose of these seminars would be to help equip team captains, coaches and whole teams with the knowledge and means to optimize their training, learn how to function more effectively as a team while at the same time learning the practical drills and procedures that will give teams the confidence and know-how to play the aggressive game.
Nothing is set at this point though I have a few ideas. I'm looking at the last couple of weeks of August in terms of a time frame. And I'm thinking 2 seminars back-to-back. The first might be a Monday thru Thursday and focus on bringing in teams (or at least a representative sample) who would also receive the benefit of actively participating in the team building and training activities. The second seminar might then be Fri - Sunday aimed more for team captains, coaches and trainers as the level and amount of actual on field training activities would likely be reduced. Alternatively it could be back-to-back weekends instead. The first weekend a Fri thru Sunday for mostly individual team leaders and the following weekend Thursday thru Sun targeting more team participation.
That's the rough concept, a possible time frame and the target participants. No prices yet but one possible venue would eastern France, proximate to Germany, which would be reasonably accessible to large number of Euro teams. The team seminar would have to limit participation while the team leaders seminar would be more flexible.
Any and all comments, particularly from Euro players, is greatly appreciated.

Yo baca I run my university paintball team we are really active and have two solid teams, I for one would definetly be up for attending as long as its not too far away and not too pricey.

This sounds like something most UK teams would, sorry should be interested in.

I hear that, Sid.

You'll have to arrange it so that it's no more than 20 minutes away from each UK player, and charge an amount that clearly demontrates that there's no way you can possibly earn any money out of it.
Then, pray for good weather, lay on some free food, and you might get a 50% turn-out from the people that eventually promised they'd attend.
No offence to the people that think they 100% would attend (for definite!), I'm just having a dig at the rest of them...
Oh, and if you put it in the North expect only northern teams, and vice versa.

best plan, to get maximum interest, would be to do a free tour, where you actually go around to their houses and teach them in the comfort of their own lounge. Maybe you could take some beer round there too...

Missy,

I think that might be the reason why he's looking at doing it in France and near to Germany, not near the Orbital ;)

So Missy what your saying is that Baca should produce a dvd that came with free beer ?

He technically only needs to create one DVD. Everyone else will bootleg it before he recovers from his jetlag.

Would love to participate, but the cost of travelling will most likely be too expensive.

A peep from the North East Euroland.

I think if there is enough interest Belgium should be considered a venue, its not famed for much other than Beer and chocolate but does have a couple of decent paintball fields and good transport links (road, rail and air) with the rest of Europe. It could be the most exciting thing to happen in Belgium since, er, forever.

This has to be "the next thing" in clinics. Now when everybody and their friends has attended some pro-school in last 6 years, it is about time to think how to run a whole team.
Us "managers" use mainly our own experience from other sports and clubs in how we run a paintball team. It really could be success to offer such "American paintball" clinic in Europe.
About location and duration I would suggest central Europe close to some large airport hub (Frankfurt etc.) to help in travel costs. Since managers/coaches are adult family guys keep it as short as you can, to help negotations back home... :)

You forgot that Belgium is also famous for child-molesters.
