VFTD needs your help

Okay, maybe not your help specifically but somebody's help--assuming you have buckets full of computer savvy. Here's the deal; seems the worst of my problems kept returning because a seemingly harmless generation file was added to start-up and operated thru the browser (both IE & Firefox.) Anyway, I seemed to have scraped all that out except, except my new and freshly installed browsers still once in a while generate unsolicited and/or redirected web pages. This seems to be mostly a nuisance but I'd like it to go away. I've used Malwarebytes to clean the hijacker & rogues, Ad-Aware for the nuisance crap and CCleaner for the registry and start-up. Got any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Start using Google Chrome or Apple Safari.

1. Try to check it with Spyboot Search and Destoy, than immunize the system.

2. Try Opera browser - it's free and have much better protection than EI. Many features are similar to FF.

Yes I second that - Buy a bloody Mac - no spyware, trojan, virus mutating crap ever invades a Mac...

The above may all be true, but I had a hijacker that nobody seemed able to detect, redirecting to shopping sites etc all the time, Google was virtually unusable in IE and Firefox. Chrome was OK, but switching browsers doesn't fix it. it just masks the problem. Buying a Mac means that the hackers are human and aren't prepared to add insult to injury and are still laughing at you for buying an overpriced, overstyled box!

This Trojan Remover however did work for me, It was recommended via the Firefox forums and has a 1 month free trial of the full application (you may consider paying the licence is a good idea as it works).

Give it a go http://www.simplysup.com/
